To improve the distribution of employment opportunities to Pacific Island specialists, Eco-Consult Pacific established an electronic mail service providing information on forthcoming national, regional and international vacancies in the Pacific. The service has more than 4100 subscribers, and since its inception has dispatched more than 2000 vacancies and consultancies. In a recent poll, Pacific Vacancies was rated ‘excellent’ and ‘good’ by 99% of subscribers. Donors have expressed strong appreciation for the wide publicising of their vacancies.

This service, which is aimed at reaching specialists at remote locations, currently distributes vacancies fortnightly. This is helpful for a wide range of people. Recent graduates, fresh out of online colleges and universities and those wishing to make a career change, need to up to date information. We are happy to be able to help.
